The Place Where Two Oceans Meet But The Water Does Not Mix. (photos)

In the Gulf of Alaska two oceans come together but the water does not mix.

This shows a strange natural phenomenon that occurs when heavy, sediment-laden water from glacial valleys and rivers pours into the open ocean. There in the gulf, the two types of water run into each other, a light, almost electric blue merging with a darker slate-blue.

ASUU WARNS CANDIDATES ON POST-UTME

The striking Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) has warned that successful candidates at the various 2013 post-UTME examinations to government owned Universities may not be recognised if offered admission from the exercise.

asuu.1The union also described as cheap “political statement” the pronouncement of Governor Gabriel Suswam of Benue State that the strike would be over on Thursday, insisting that the strike would only be suspended if government implements all the components in the 2009 agreement and the 2012 Memorandum of Understanding (MoU).
